Land and Seascapes
ByThere’s a pier in Pompano Beach – in South Florida – that I love to visit. Here are some scenes from my recent visit:
Gear: Canon EOS 6D with Canon EF 24-105 mm and Oben monopod.
Two Terns hanging out on the pier:
Looking North from the Pier, towards West Palm Beach
These are beautiful wish i had a beach view like you

Thank you, focusedphotos. Yes, it’s nice to escape to the seashore. I don’t get there often enough, but I am so grateful it’s close enough for frequent visits.

Me too! It’s the nicest escape – nearly as wonderful as escaping into the wilderness to bird watch. 🙂

These are beautiful pictures. I am envious…My ocean photos never turn out -catching such beauty. Yours, they make me want to go to the beach and get away.

That’s so nice of you to say – thank you very much for your kindness and feedback. I live in South Florida, with beaches practically in my backyard, yet I don’t get there as often as I’d like. It is comforting to know it’s close by – it’s a blessing.

It’s too bad when we live so close to such beautiful things and don’t utilize them often. Yet, with pictures like these, it is obvious you don’t take it for granted! Good for you. 🙂

I spent a few years of my young childhood in Pompano Beach, FL. From what I can barely remember, we lived on the canal near S. Federal Highway. We were near the inlet, out to sea. I don’t remember Pompano Bch. having a pier though. Photos are stunning.
